Fun for the entire family!

Celebrate the holiday season with a Symphony of Lights, a drive through Christmas light display on the grounds of Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. Symphony of Lights is a spectacular display of more than 75 animated and stationary holiday lights. All proceeds from the Christmas light display benefit the Campus Development Plan for Howard County General Hospital: A member of Johns Hopkins Medicine.

New this year! Midnight at 7 – A family fun New Year’s eve celebration will include a walk through the lights, entertainment, dancing and fireworks. See more details below.

Dates and Hours:
Monday, November 22, 2010-Sunday, January 2, 2011. Open 7 days a week from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., including holidays. Walk through only on December 31st.

Symphony of Lights is located at the intersection of Brokenland Parkway and Hickory Ridge Road, off of Route 29 at Exit 18B.

Admission:
$20 per car. $45 for vans and $125 for buses. Print a $5 off coupon. (Valid Monday-Thursday only)

  • Tail Lights- A dog friendly walk through the lights. Tuesday, December 14th
  • Group Walk Throughs- Perfect for youth groups, scout groups, school groups and more! Nov. 29-Dec. 22. (Mon. and Wed. only) Reservations Required.
  • Midnight at 7 – A family fun New Year’s eve celebration with Fireworks. Walk through the lights, enjoy entertainment, dancing and other exciting activities. Friday, December 31, 5:45-8 p.m. Fireworks at 7 p.m. Cost: Individual – $20, Group of 3 – $50, Group of 4 – $60, Group of 5 – $70, Group of 6 – $80, Children under 3 are free.
